Seems Intel really have issues with there hardware, the N card brings up a USB error about every 30 seconds, and the bluetooth didnt work. I can sit next to my router and the speed is up and down. Also a week I replaced my router with a My Amilo Pro connects to the wireless network on my desk with no issue and works fine and the speed and signal is fixed at 54Mbps. I’m now trying to find a different make combi wifi card to try.

At first days I had purchased, it was connecting hardly and I needed to carry it to a nearer place to connect and after returning ah5311 the desk it either remained connected and working or got disconnected.

Try to install different wlan module drivers if there are any changes. It can go from over mbps to 40’s. The quality of connection got better but not ideal. Webpages started loading initially, but suddenly requests started to time out, and that continued until restarting the wifi-adapter.

But yet sometimes, every few minutes not secondsfluctuates to 18 and wlzn If not, give it a try.

We all have paid a lot of money on our notebooks. The wonderful part is that when the Antenna lines come to 3 the speed goes upper to 48 or 54 which is what I cannot really understand.

I uninstalled all the fujitsu applications regarding power handling and power saving and whatnot, and then i configured the windows power plan advanced – wireless adapter power saving – and set all to maximum performance eg.

I replaced the N card with the next card in the range the N this card allows 2. It’s a very common problem google N brings up no end of complaints. On the fujitsu website there are two different versions and maybe also on the Intel Website itself.

Even if I could connect it had a awful signal and speed fluctuation. Even plugged into AC, even sitting next to the router. Seems Intel really have issues with there hardware, the N card brings up a USB error about every 30 seconds, and the bluetooth didnt work.

Is this adapter poor totally? Slan now trying to find a different make combi wifi card to try.

Also doing lifeboook speed tests very erractic results compared to the USB adaptor which gives consistant high results. I took my notebook to the service representative and they replaced the wireless adapter.

I can sit next ligebook my router and the speed is up and down. And most of time i have speed of 12Mbps with 4 Antenna lines.

Did the service store tried lifehook reproduce the problem with their own wlan network so that you know if the problem also appears at another wlan network? But my old notebook’s hardware is centrino and its wireless lifebooj is Intel Pro dont remember exact model number and I have no issue with my home wireless network.

Searching various forums once again brought up many unanswered queries concerning the same problem. The Centrino’s just seem to have lots of problems, google brings up plenty of them. Also I’ve noticed the My Wifi software is erratic often not recognising the adaptor, repairing the software brings it back, but it disappears once you restart the notebook!!!

After updating the driver fluctuation is now reduced. First of all I thought this may be a visual bug and is normal but it really affects the performance of the network mostly when I want to transfer large files on the network which I have no issue with other alan devices on the network.

Also many times the ping time lifeboo my modem is about 30ms, 40ms or higher and even ms. The adapter on this notebook is Intel Centrino Wireless-N Excuse me for long writing.
